Functional Responsibilities:

The Test and Validation Engineer shall possess an active and transferable U.S. TOP-SECRET (with SSBI). The Contractor shall provide interim and final test reports on issues detected during the test process. The Contractor shall provide analysis on each selected hardware/software/application combination for the tool being tested, based on the previously established and defined expected results for each test. These reports shall be the means for prioritizing each of the detected test issues and problems. The final report will include a specific statement, indicating whether user entered date on all devices tested was in any way altered by the use of the software product being tested. In addition, an impacted analysis of the tested products shall be provided with information regarding tool improvements that could possibly limit the replication of the errors in similar Government selected products. A template for test results may be provided by the Government for the Contractor to follow.

Minimum General Experience:

• Experience should highlight the contractor’s work history in the following
• Evaluation of Software/Hardware functionality
• Software/Hardware Testability
• Test Planning (Includes software and hardware platforms)
• Test data construction (clearly defined test cases for test execution)
• Test Execution
• Test Tracking and Problem Reporting
• Producing Test Results
• Producing Interim and Final Reports

Minimum Education:
Contractor must possess a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and three (3) years’ experience evaluating the functionality of software/hardware as detailed above.
