Functional Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall design and implement board and Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) -level hardware required to meet operational requirements. The Contractor shall contribute to system-level design and partitioning to optimize overall system performance and reliability. The Contractor shall also test, debug, and refine FPGA designs to produce the required product. In addition, the Contractor shall prepare both program-level and user-level documentation (with Government direction and/or approval).

Minimum/General Experience:

  • Be a US citizen and have an existing Top-Secret government security clearance.
  • Six (6) or more years’ technical experience as a developer of FPGA-based capabilities.
  • Experience in deriving design specifications for functional activities.
  • Experience with high-speed devices and interfaces, including 10Gb Ethernet, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) and Double Data Rate Type 3/4 (DDR3/4) Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory (SDRAM) memories.
  • Experience in incorporating embedded processors as part of hardware, and a minimal amount of corresponding embedded software development to support hardware verification.
  • Experience in Verilog or VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL).

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S) Degree in Electronic Engineering, or, in lieu of education, six (6) additional years of technical experience in a related field of study.
