Functional Responsibilities:

The SE II shall possess an active and transferable U.S. TOP-SECRET (with SSBI). The SE II is expected to write, debug, and implement code for internal web-based systems. The SE II will collaborate with others to write effective, scalable code to meet automation and data presentation requirements. The SE II will perform peer reviews and participate in regular architecture and design meetings.

Minimum General Experience:

Utilizing software applications, modules, and databases in various languages, including those associated with scientific, technical, or engineering problems

Writing programs that achieve a desired outcome or workflow from nothing more than observation of desired outcomes, workflows, or from vague original concepts

Developing and writing original website and database applications that model existing workflow into automated systems

Familiarity with techniques to interact with data stored in PostgreSQL, and other Database (DB) formats.

Must be familiar with using a GIT repository

Multiple programming languages necessary to meet a diverse set of requirements. The Contractor must be familiar with a variety of scripts, programming languages, and operating systems. Examples of relevant computer programming languages currently used to design and deploy components include, but are not limited to:

• Javascript
• Python

Preferred Skills:

• Django
• Jinja2

Minimum Education:

Four (4) year college degree in software engineering or equivalent of, plus two (2) year of software engineering/developer experience, or in lieu of education five (5) years of experience in the software engineering/development field as detailed above. If utilizing in lieu of education, all experience must be at or above the position level described above.
